Cernetigh; 0.50 hectares of hilly lands consisting of Eocene marls and facing SSE at an altitude of 200-220 m.; owned.

AGEING
Wine grower: four years, including 14-18 months’ maturation in barrels and 30-36 months’ ageing in bottles.
Consumer: 15-20 years’ ageing. Special vintages may reach much longer ageing, in a “crescendo”.

ORGANOLEPTIC PROPERTIES
Colour: balanced red with ruby hues
Nose: exceptionally elegant bouquet and strong personality (spicy fragrances with aroma of soft fruit).
Taste: dry, but rare and elegant (special white pepper flavour); rich nobility of character.

TASTING CONDITIONS
Definition: dry red wine.
Food: Barley minestrone traditional of the Friuli area; roasted white and red meats; meats with delicate sauces; poultry and small game; mushrooms dishes.
Serving temperature: 18°C.
Serving suggestions: uncork a few minutes before serving or longer, according to the ageing period.
Bottle: green, Bordeaux type; store in a horizontal position.
Cork: ø 26 x 50 mm.

Suggested wine glass: tall and fine glass; fill by one third to enhance the elegance of this wine.
